A perfect ESE wind for the DF95 A rig today.

A nice A+ breeze from the ESE for the 9 sailors today.

6 sailors today in a breeze right on the edge of A rig.

5 sailors with a SE wind ending up at the top of A rig and not much weed.

Due to the buildup of the pond weed, instead of sailing we had another attempt at removing the weed in the SE corner of the pond. It was eventually decided that after several days and methods spent on the removal, that the spread of the weed was over too great an area for this to be done by hand. Given the large area of weed it was decided to cancel the Great Southern Series of regattas scheduled for the 7th & 8th February (IOM) and the 14th & 15th March (DF95) to be run later in the year, spring if possible. Thanks to all those who put in time to try and solve this problem.

Strong East wind for the 5 boats today. 3 C rigs and 2 B rigs today with Brian R electing not to sail with his B rig and did the scoring for the day, thanks Brian. We picked up a bit of weed but managed to get 7 races in

Had a strong SE wind which was on the upper end of the A Rigs.

We had a strong SW wind with all 7 yachts start with B rigs. Cassie had yacht problems and retired and then did the RO duties.

Hebo comes back with a win.

We managed to get 5 boats on the water for this handicap racesday.

The breeze started in the ENE at 10-15 kts and finished in the ESE at 15-20 kts.

Plenty of wind today for the last Handicap race before the Christmas break.
